EWTN’s Pro-Life Coverage

Each January, tens of thousands of people gather in the nation’s capital for the March for Life. While most news outlets ignore or pay little attention to the annual event, EWTN is on the ground with day-long coverage.

About 50 people—producers, editors, reporters, camera operators, audio technicians, anchors, makeup artists, lighting crews, engineers, and more—come together to broadcast the March for Life. Additionally, many experts participate in discussions on pertinent issues: abortion, the abortion pill, recent congressional and state laws, in vitro fertilization, assisted suicide, and more.

The Network also broadcasts the Walk for Life West Coast, Canada’s National March for Life, and the program EWTN Pro-Life Weekly. Due to our strong commitment to life, EWTN is often the first—sometimes the only—source to share pro-life news. Montse Alvarado, the President and COO of EWTN News, says, “We are committed to being the first source and authority for pro-life news.”

This is all possible with you, our EWTN Family, at our side. Thank you!

January Feast Days

Liturgical Seasons

It is therefore Jesus Christ Himself who is the source as well as the object of the liturgy; and hence the ecclesiastical year, which we have undertaken to explain in this work, is neither more nor less than the manifestation of Jesus Christ and His mysteries, in the Church and in the faithful soul.
